Good Dog! Training is committed to "dog friendly dog training".
We utilize gentle, scientifically supported methods in training
and behavior modification. We do not utilize harsh physical corrections.
Behavior modification protocols are from the best veterinary and
certified applied behaviorists in practice. Both you and your dog
are treated with the dignity and respect you deserve. Unlike working
with a "big box store" when you select Good Dog! Training
you and your pet have a friend for life and someone you can always
call on to assist with your pet. Good Dog! Training and all of it's
instructors and assistants are fully insured for group classes and
private training services.
Group Classes: Group Classes are located in Lansing Michigan. Good
Dog! Training classes are held in a large 3,000 square foot climate
controlled indoor facility, with ample well light parking. The facility
is safe and clean for people and their pets. Only fully vaccinated
animals have access to the interior spaces used for classes. New
group classes are starting every month. Classes are taught five
days a week. Class size is limited to 10 dogs, an average class
size is 6-8 dogs or puppies.
Private Training: Private training lessons are scheduled by appointment
and are conducted in your home. These lessons work well for individuals
who prefer a very personalized service, or have schedules that don't
allow them to attend group classes.
Behavior Consultations: Consultations are done by appointment in your home. Issues range from puppy biting or house training to
more serious dog aggression or anxiety issues. A consultation includes
a home visit and history taking, detailed behavior modification
notes and phone/e-mail support are included.
Dog Walking: Good Dog! Training has a limited number of dog walking
clients. Janet walks puppies or adult dogs - daily and weekly rates
are available.
Good Dog! Training accepts cash, check or credit card payments.
