Cost: $89 Classes are six weeks long, one hour each week.

Class size is limited to 10, pre-registration is required. Payment must accompany your registration form.  Never worry about missing a class - you can ALWAYS make up a class

when you register with Good Dog! Training.

Equipment for group class:  
Please have a flat collar either nylon or leather (no pinch, choke or prong collars). Head collars are acceptable. Please have a 6-foot nylon or leather leash (no retractable or chain leashes). Also, please be sure to bring some especially tasty treats for your dog.
 

Course Descriptions

Good Puppy! Socialization … is for puppies up to 20 weeks of age. Emphasis is on socialization to other puppies, dogs, and people. This important class helps shape proper temperament in your pet dog. Early training lays a foundation for a great relationship with your dog. Sit, down, stay, and loose leash walking also covered.

Advanced Good Puppy! …
is for puppies over 20 weeks of age. This class is for puppies that have completed the Puppy Socialization Class and want to continue to develop their obedience skills and continue with positive socialization.

Good Dog! Level One ...
is for dogs 5 months of age or older that have never had a previous training class. Focus is on good doggy manners. Basic exercises sit, down, stay and loose leash walking.
No previous training required.
 
Good Dog! Level Two ... is for dogs or puppies that have completed either a Companion Dog Level One or a Puppy Socialization class. The class will cover intermediate skills with increased levels of distractions. Canine Good Citizen Test Given at the end of class.

Good Dog! Level Three …
an advanced class for puppies and dogs that have earned their Canine Good Citizen certificate. Advanced Obedience. Taught on and off leash. All dogs must be friendly to dogs and people.

Intro to Agility …
is for dogs of any age, size or breed. Non-impact obstacles like tunnel, table, closed chute, off-centered weaves
and low jumps are used. This class is meant to have fun with your dog by introducing your dog to agility obstacles.
*Previous obedience class suggested.

Agile Puppies ... a class designed to introduce your puppy to agility obstacles in a completely safe and fun way! This class is great fun for you and your puppy, creates confidence and helps with socialization. A great way to begin to teach fluencies for future pet stars!

Small dog, BIG FUN! ... is for dogs under 25 lbs. A specialty class for small dogs including those with aggression or fear issues. How to address handling problems for groomers or veterinarians. How to improve behavior with strangers, strange dogs or aggression at home towards family members. Obedience training and behavior challenges addressed.

Rabble Rousers … a special class designed for dogs who are reactive (barking, lunging, snarling) at other dogs when on or off leash.
The class is designed to control your dog around other dogs. No dogs at first class. Owners only.
*Instructor/phone interview is required to take this class. 

Shy Dogs & Wallflowers s... a special class designed for dogs that are shy around strangers. Focus is on remedial socialization and confidence building exercises. No previous training required. 

Tricks Fun and Games... an advanced class for dogs that have completed either a level one or two class.  Tricks, fun, games, agility...playtime.  Advanced control of your dog through games and fun.  Dogs must be dog friendly off leash.
